Panel 1:
SCORE (Success, Challenges, Opportunities, Risks,
Enterprise) of Information Systems
Information Systems as a field has
come a long way. We have witnessed its glory
in the early dotcom era, and have also faced
tremendous challenges and undergone significant
transformations over the last few years. Looking
forward, it is important that we collectively identify growth
opportunities, create new possibilities, and try to avoid risks so as to ensure a
stable and healthy development of the field and a
proper identification of ourselves with the peers. This panel
aims to offer valuable insights gleaned from past experiences
as well as generate innovative new ideas that allow us
to reach another level of excellence. Topics
for discussion include who we are, what we do, where
we stand and go, why IT matters, how we evolve and
change for the better?
